SFS-ADE designs and develops bare wafer inspection and metrology equipment for semiconductor industry.


The successful candidate will work as an engineering manager in SFS-ADE division.

The main responsibilities are engineering project management, new product extension and escalation management for existing product platforms with the key goal of assuring customer success in utilizing SFS-ADE products.

As engineering manager, you will play a key leadership role in the PLC meetings and help to drive engineering actions to closure. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, marketing and global service organizations to resolve PLC related issues.

To start with, you will be tasked to build a team of engineers based in Singapore to support and drive assigned projects to successful release. After team is formed, as their direct manager, you will be responsible to manage day-to-day activities along with completing yearly evaluations for the team.


10+ year experience in semiconductor industry, 5+ year experience in development, service, or manufacturing of advanced semiconductor equipment. Candidate with optical system design, automation, or motion control background is preferred. PLC participation experience is highly desirable. 5+ year experience in managing engineering projects; experience of prioritizing projects based on customer/market requirements and engineering resources; experience of working with a global team (distributed in multiple geographic locations) for product development and support, Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills; experience of customer support is required; knowledge of semiconductor fab and optical metrology tools are highly desirable; hands-on engineering manager; a team player with excellent communication skills.
