Group/Division

KLA-Tencor has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA).  The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology.  We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market.  The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Responsibilities

 

  1. Reviews requisitions and MRP output.
  2. work with Master Schudulers for correct customer forecast & demand loading.
  3. Lead planners on BKM from corporate guidelines.
  4. Determines method of procurement such as direct purchase.
  5. Orders, reschedules and cancels material based on requisitions and MRP output.
  6. Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchase, costs, delivery and inventories.
  7. Work with Purchasing team to secure material in time for customers.
  8. Analyzes inventory levels. Prepares liability reports for excess and obsolete management.
  9. Plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials through the product life cycle.
  10. Lead planning team in supplying material to production in time to meet customers' schedule.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Typically requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in Planning activities
  3. Able to write, converse and communicate in basic English.
  4. Able to use Microsoft excel in data analysis and draw conclusions from them.
  5. Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
