Group/Division

KLA-Tencor has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA).  The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology.  We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market.  The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Responsibilities

  • Support new product upgrade launches and manufacturing releases
  • Anticipate considerations in design reviews and release processes of subsystems and specifications
  • Work with design teams for DFX and develop upgrade installation procedures
  • ECO review and approvals and transfer design knowledge to MDE/MFG teams
  • Interact with manufacturing, service teams to support a smooth product transition into manufacturing and the field
  • Write technical documentation that meets the defined quality standards for manufacturing, service as required; manage document release process
  • Provide sustaining engineering to support computer hardware and electrical subsystems

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSEE or MSEE with emphasis in computer, control systems and image acquisition and processing
  • Knowledge of and experience with electronics design, analog and digital design, control systems, embedded electronic hardware and firmware design, FPGA/CPLD development, electrical system design, motion control system, image acquisition, embedded image processing and data conversion;
  • Good electronics background with computer system hardware and software knowledge. Understand scripts like Python is a plus
  • Team player in a multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Active and highly motivated; strong learning ability
  • System level knowledge and experience in semiconductor industry and previous experience working in KLA-Tencor is a plus
  • Understand electronics and semiconductor equipment compliance and regulations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctorate (Academic) OR
  • Master's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience OR
  • Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience
  • Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience.
