Supports the different phases of the product life cycle for next generation products. Implement significant parts of the stage controls. Perform real-time programming, tool control and image acquisition tasks for the next generation of reticle inspection equipment. Aid with specifications development, product verification, validation, transfer to manufacturing, and support of customer ramp. Perform stage control and calibration. Coordinate transformations and calibrations, position and other error mapping and identification of target samples and locations. Implement real-time control functions and drivers for diagnostics, image acquisition and the scanning and data path functions. Support the ongoing integration efforts. Maintain ownership of the product performance through the product life cycle and be responsible for improvement projects and support of field and manufacturing issues. Complete the initial diagnosis of complex software issues, uncover root cause and devise solutions. Support the analysis and tradeoffs for the various solutions, develop plans of action, and effectively communicate plans to colleagues. Some travel may be required to support product transition to manufacturing, beta support at customer sites, and for complex escalations that require onsite support.
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of work experience in the position offered or in a computer-related occupation.
Some domestic and international travel required.
