Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively.

 

We manufacture world’s most advanced wafer inspection, review and measurement equipment for the chipmakers based on Electron Beam Technology.
 

Our suite of SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) wafer defect inspectors, defect review and classification tools form a complete solution for inspecting, identify and tracking yield-critical defects. 

 

The high-resolution images of wafer defects help the chipmakers resolve production issues and aid in producing maximum numbers of chips from wafers in high-speed and high-volume manufacturing processes 

Responsibilities

We're looking for a talented Software Project Manager to deliver outstanding products.

This is a high-visibility role within the KLA’s EBEAM Division. This role will represent a great growth opportunity especially as it requires strong technical leadership and ability to develop stronger understanding of the marketplace and customer needs. Successful performance in this role will lead to new and greater opportunities within KLA.

Our product includes machine control software that interface with optics, sensors, robots, electronics, stage; user interface software with desktop and web technology; Hadoop based big-data platform for parametric data monitoring and analytics; machine learning infrastructure to integrate deep learning frameworks and high-performance computing with GPU and CPU image computers.

You will play crucial role in planning, scheduling, software delivery, quality and keeping product on time/budget and ship products. You will have broader understanding about overall system, use cases, influence software processes improvements & drive quality, while achieving internal & external project milestones.

Your project management, communication and collaborative skills will help team to be product focus and keep deliverables on track.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Define project plans, including scope, requirements management, schedule, milestones, success criteria, and quality goals.

Drive execution of plan to ensure successful project delivery.

Manage and mitigate project risk including business, technical and schedule risks. Escalate any potential blockers or show stoppers to senior management.

Track overall product features and defect trends - while understanding their cycles.

Strategize & own software branching process, define decision checkpoints for teams

 

Qualifications

Software engineering background including requirements, development, integration and testing

Experience in Software development life cycle - Planning, Development, Integration, Validation, Release

Excellent in project planning, document requirement, and push project forward in systematic fashion

Good interpersonal skill to manage project through difficult obstacles

Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams

Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skill

A self-motivated individual who takes the initiative in a constantly-changing working environment

Agile development experience is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) with at least 2 years of experience. OR Master's Level Degree with at least 4 years of experience. OR Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 5 years of experience.

 

Experience in software development and project management.
