Conduct new KLA-Tencor product introduction, hardware characterization, alpha and beta testing, and in-house customer demonstrations and head-to-head activities at customer facilities. Generate best-known method documents and other training materials, and transfer product knowledge to worldwide Field Applications team. Formulate new requirements for inspection products and work closely with algo/software engineering to create a robust and reliable design to meet the requirements. Use KLA-Tencor's broadband plasma recipe setup strategies and follow specified methods in KLA-Tencor's product development lifecyle for alpha, beta characterization, customer demonstrations and product roll out. Rely on methods used for software development life cycle during requirement definition and product design.
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of work experience in the position offered or in an applications engineering-related occupation.
WORK LOCATION: Milpitas, CA.
