The successful candidate will be a member of a team supporting and developing the control electronics subsystem of an advanced wafer inspection system. The subsystem includes multi-axis controllers driving a complex mix of sensors and actuators of various types.  The candidate will be responsible for all related aspects of the subsystem including cables and PCBs, test and debug, subsystem integration, test, and ECO release.  In this role they will work closely with Development, Mechanical, Manufacturing and Reliability engineers.  Candidate must be knowledgeable in stepper and servo motor controls; Mechatronics; Galil (or similar) controller programming; Cable design; PCB Design; Prototype PCB test and test fixture set up; Electrical/Mechanical subsystem integration, test and troubleshooting; ECO release and documentation; Writing documentation and provide training.

Minimum Qualifications

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
