Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA-Tencor to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA-Tencor's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA-Tencor’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers.

The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the receiving, auditing, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders, invoices or BOM's.  Maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Prepares rejected material for return shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. Kits materials for assembly production.  Perform material cycle counts on the Mfg. floor.

SKILL: Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.

JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.

SUPERVISION: Normally follows established procedures on routine work; requires

Preferred Qualifications

  • HS graduate or equivalent and 5 years of experience in Materials functions.
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Working knowledge of eQuality
  • Working knowledge of Bills of Material
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel

Minimum Qualifications

  • HS Graduate or equivalency with at least 3 years of experience
