The Wafer Inspection Division (WIN) is the world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced optical inspection tools for inline monitoring of process defects in advanced semiconductor factories.
The AI group explores and develops new technologies for AI and HPC applications.
Responsibilities within the AI group are fluid over time as the group tries to stay current. Initially, the job will entail porting CPU functions and algorithms to GPUs using CUDA and optimizing them for maximum performance on the GPU. Future responsibilities are expected to include algorithm development for both traditional HPC loads and AI approaches.
C/C++ and Python.
Experience with one or more assembly languages and/or embedded systems is a plus.
Performance optimization experience is a plus
Solid math background.
Signal processing is a plus.
Numerical analysis or numerical error analysis is a plus.
Familiarity with Machine Learning is a plus.
