Group/Division

The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Manage the development of EUV source technology strategy, as needed for source subsystem design and development for next generation mask inspection system, and associated source supplier management.   Will co-develop system design requirements and balance subsystem interactions while meeting overall system performance goals, and determine supplier capability gaps and develop appropriate mitigation plans.   Manage research scientist and design engineering resources (both internal and external) as needed for timely technology selection and subsystem development.   Coordinate with Supplier Management teams in Operations.    Manage external R&D network as appropriate to supplement internal investigations.

Preferred Qualifications

Must have demonstrated outstanding capability to assess source technology.     Must have significant and successful experience in high-performance light source design, development, and supply chain management.  Will have demonstrated ability to hire and develop high-performance teams.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) in relevent discipline with at least 10 years of industrial experience directly related to light source development and use in complex opto-mechanical systems.   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
